I am going to be taking part in the Great South Run to raise money for Blue Skye Thinking. I first heard about Skye and his family through their Loom to the Moon Campaign. Skye hoped to create a Loom band long enough to reach the moon but devastatingly did not live to see this happen. The strength shown by Skye's family since his death, fufilling his wish to Loom to the Moon and subsequently setting up Blue Skye Thinking to fund research into childhood brain tumours has really inspired me, particuraly Skye's mum, Sally who has shown strength that I am in complete awe of.

So, most of you know, I'm not the fittest but I have been doggedly training for this since January and am determinded to complete the course and I hope, raise some money for this very important cause. If you can spare a few quid I would be very grateful.
