As you grow older you start to realise that life can come to an end. The last two years I lost a really good friend, Hilary Bockham to a nasty cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. More recently, we lost our Uncle Kevin to another nasty cancer that spread like wild fire in no time. Pendleside Hospice did everything they could to look after my Uncle and as a family we couldn't thank them enough. They get VERY limited support from the government and I thought the least I could do was break a big sweat to try and help them out. 

I'll be running the half marathon at 9am on the 7th May on the Island of Elba in Italy.
