Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the Easter holidays I lost a good friend to suicide. Having no answers as to why it happened, with everyone around him oblivious due to his constant smile and outgoing nature, I decided to try and turn it into something positive and have therefore thrown myself into charity.

I'm aiming to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) which deals with suicide specifically in men. I am running the Manchester 10k on 20th May in the hope of raising awareness relating to suicide and hopefully therefore helping others to avoid being affected.

Any donation or support is welcome, no matter how big or small the gesture is. Your money will be sent directly the charity, and I appreciate every penny. Thanks!

About the charity

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
