Story

Better start training then..!

I have always wanted to run a marathon and where better to start than the 2019 London Marathon, and all for a wonderful local charity.

I'm fund raising for a great cause: Osteoperosis 2000, which is a support group based in Sheffield and run by some fantastic family friends.

Osteoperosis is a disease where the bone density and quality of the bone are reduced. As bones become more porous and fragile, the risk of fracture is greatly increased.

It affects, on average, one in two women over the age of 50 and the loss of bone can occur silently and progressively. Men are less likely to develop the disease, nevertheless, one in five men over the age of 50 will have an osteoporosis related fracture.

Please take the time to get behind this as your generosity will really make a difference,

Jess
