Story
Hello!
My name is Jessie, I am 23 years old and work for a Dance
charity in London.
I am also a Meningitis survivor, contracting the illness
three times in four years!
This year to give back I am running the Vitality London 10k
in aid of Meningitis Now on the 29th May with my Mum and best friend
Amy.
Meningitis Now is a charity dedicated to building a
future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.
I know this will be a demanding physical challenge for me
since I face daily neuropathic pain and viral symptoms as a result of the
infection, yet I couldn’t be prouder to be running for #TEAM TANGERINE!
