In April my best bud Mills was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2 days before her 28th Birthday. As always, she is putting her excellent social admin skills to use by planning events and turning what is a pretty naff start to her 28th year into something great. We love her lots. 

I have watched my mum recover from Breast cancer and also lost some family members to worse prognosis, cancer has and will always play way too big and unwelcome a role in my life but as always, it doesn't get to win, unless of course I get blisters on mile 3 and throw a strop.
