Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August 2013 Tom Jagger went missing on a mountain climbing expedition in the Peruvian Andes. He was a very good friend, albeit one that was difficult to keep track of because he kept heading off up mountains!  Walking the Pennine Way is something I've been wanting to do for a while, and it seemed like a good way to remember Tom and also to raise a bit of money for Peak District Mountain Rescue; Tom admired the work that Mountain Rescue did, and as mountaineering was his passion it felt like an appropriate cause.

So, on May 10th this year I will be dragging my faithful boyfriend along all 268 miles of the Way, from Edale up to Kirk Yetholm. We'll be camping it and carrying all of our own gear, and hope to do it in 19 days. Any pennies you want to throw our way will be gratefully received by Peak District Mountain Rescue.
