Story

Jewell Academy is holding a 'Dress to Express' day on Friday 5th February. Wear something colourful and if you are at home, you can still take part, email us photos! You could wear your favourite colour, or a range of colours which express how you are feeling. All we ask is that if you are able to make a £2 donation, this would be amazing. Funds will go directly to Place2Be to support young people and children by providing counselling, drop in sessions, parent support, training etc.

This Children's Mental Health Week, we're shining a spotlight on the importance of children and young people's mental health and fundraising to help more children and young people get the emotional support they need.We know that many children and young people's mental health has been affected over the past year. According to one survey, 83% of young people with mental health conditions found that these worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic - meaning Place2Be's work has never been more needed.Let's come together and work towards a future where no child has to face mental health problems alone.
