Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am running the London Marathon on April 13th 2008. This time my colleagues and I at Investec are raising money for Action for Kids which provides mobility aids to disabled children and their carers and provides support services to their families. (Seee www.actionforkids.org)

Last year with your generous support I raised well over my £10 000 target for Rays of Sunshine. I have set myself the same target again for this year. I fully appreciate that there are lots of other worthy causes competing for your generosity, however, I can assure you that your financial support is a critical incentive in getting me round the 26.2 miles and more importantly providing the opportunity for disabled children to lead  more independent and self reliant lives.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action For Kids will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Regards

Jeremy
