Story

I'm going to be attempting two big cycling challenges- On 21/22nd November I'll be part of a team riding the virtual Revolve 24 race- we're hoping to ride around 450 miles!
On the 16th March I’m going to be attempting a (virtual) Everesting. This will involve riding until I’ve achieved the same vertical elevation as Mt Everest- 8848m or just over 29000 feet) on an indoor trainer (I'd planned to do it in December but got injured so had to delay it). The trainer replicates the gradient so I am going to suffer! I’ll need to ride 9 times up the virtual Alpe du Zwift which replicates Alpe d’Huez in France. That will be around 220km (140 miles) and I’m expecting it to take around 15 hours... I’m going to be riding it in aid of Fitzroy’s, which is a great charity supporting kids like Max with Autism and Learning difficulties. I’m tying the vRevolve/ Everest rides in with a campaign they’re running at the moment which I’m also doing. If you can help by sponsoring me that would be fantastic- I’m also looking for people who have Zwift to help on the day by riding with me- this is going to be brutal!!
