Kent College Trek to the North Pole · 2 July 2020

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Thursday 2nd July through to Sunday 5th July 2020, we are challenging our community to travel the total distance from Kent College Canterbury to the North Pole, approximately 2676 miles (around 9 miles/15 km per participant), without even leaving their neighbourhood. All modes of transport that involve a concerted effort will be absolutely fine, such as walking, running, cycling, horse-riding, in your garden or your local area or park, to clock up the miles over the day so that we can add up a grand total of distance travelled!

The whole school, including students currently overseas, will take part in our ‘KC to the North Pole’, wherever you are in the world, in memory of Jamie De Min, who died tragically at a young age in 2003 and therefore raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
