Team Alder Hey take on Born Survivor 2022 at Capesthorne Hall.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday the 7th May, myself, my brother-in-law Joseph and a group of friends are taking part in the 2022 Born Survivor 10km military assault course challenge at Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield. As a group we are fundraising as much as we can for the incredible children's hospital that is Alder Hey.

Alder Hey Children's Hospital is a truly special place, and somewhere that is very close to my heart. In July 2019, my son Ezra underwent life saving open heart surgery at 5 months old to repair a large hole in his heart. In the six months we spent visiting the hospital and during our stay for Ezra's surgery and recovery, we were blown away by the level of care and treatment he received, and truly humbled by the unwavering support of all of the staff there (they really are superheroes). Alder Hey saves lives everyday, and participating in this event is just a small way of saying thank you.
