Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

10th April 2014 marked the 10th anniversary of when my Dad, John Goodfellow, lost his battle with a brain tumour.

For the past 10 years I have wanted to do something to raise money for Marie Curie, where he spent his last few months., and so this year, me, my sister Jenny and my cousin Jayne, are running the Great North Run.

13.1 miles is a long way, and it's gonna hurt - but every time I whinge remember that I'm doing it for a good cause. Marie Curie were great with us and they support families when they really need it. Got to be worth a few quid, right?

So I, and the thousands of people Marie Curie help every day, would really appreciate it if you donated whatever you can spare - and make sure you Gift Aid it, then the government is forced to help out too!

Dig deep lovely people - your good karma's in the post :)
