As chair of Athena Swan, I am committed to Gender equality in the workplace and beyond. This International Women's Day (IWD) we are supporting Plan International who are working to create a just and equal world for girls – including here in the UK. 

To celebrate International Women's Day 2022, I will be Stepping Up for Girls with colleagues at the University of Surrey to support Plan International UK. I will walk or run 10km on IWD to help raise critical funds to help tackle gender inequality.

By supporting our IWD 2022 event donating to Plan International UK, you will stand with brave girls everywhere as they take on the issues that matter to them, from street harassment to child marriage and access to education.
