Jill Miller is raising money for Volunteers of America Mid-States, Inc
Story
To celebrate my upcoming 31st birthday, I decided to set a goal to secure 31 donations for my personal fundraising efforts to support the families we are serving during this pandemic at Volunteers of America Mid-States.
I've posted some personal photos here, because our work is so much more than just a job a to me. I've spent the last 4.5 years at VOA, and continue to be moved by the people I meet through my work.
The photo of the tiny onesie you see here was a gift one of the women at our Freedom House program made me when I was pregnant with Quinn. I will never forget the moment she handed it to me as we wrapped up a baby shower for her and the other women living at Freedom House - she saw that I was (very) pregnant, too, and wanted to give me a gift. 
Another photo is of me (also very pregnant, with Lincoln this time 
) painting at our our VOA Recovery Housing program for pregnant and parenting women, which opened just a week before I delivered Lincoln. I cherish these memories and am so grateful for the experiences I've had as part of the VOA family.
