Jill Tookey CBE passed away at home on Friday 25th March 2016 after a courageous and brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Mother to four grown up children and six grandchildren, she leaves a deep void and will be missed beyond measure.  

Jill was a force of nature, creative powerhouse and ball of energy who inspired not only her family but all who crossed her path. Founder and Artistic Director of The National Youth Ballet since 1988 on a full time voluntary basis, she was awarded a CBE for her contribution to dance in the 2016 New Year's Honours. 

Jill's wish was to help raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer and champion it's early detection so her family feel it fitting to kindly ask instead of flowers that you support Jill's Just Giving page to raise much needed funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action's  Early Detection Challenge Award Campaign.
