Johan, Nina and myself are running the 2023 Edinburgh Half Marathon on Sunday 28th May for Simpsons Memory Box Appeal in order to raise as much money as possible.Unfortunately all 3 of us have experienced the loss of a baby before we even got the chance to meet them - miscarriage is one of the worst experiences we have all had to face but during these difficult times every parent going through baby loss is given a Memory box. There are different boxes for different gestations (small up to 14 weeks, medium 14-24 weeks and Large 24 to neonatal). Memory Boxes are donated to hospitals across the UK and Ireland so they can then be gifted to parents and are full of keep sakes and things to help you through the tough times as well as contacts and help for parents and their family (read about them on this link https://www.simbacharity.org.uk/what-we-do/memory-boxes/) We would love if you could sponsor us - even just £1 to help us reach our goal of £300 and to keep us motivated in our training!
