My lovely wife Jilly was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in March 2015, and received a stem cell transplant in August 2015. She was in remission, but in the past few months suffered from a number of post transplant complications which sadly led to her death on April 28th 2016. Jilly was an inspiration to her family and many others. She had been instrumental in setting up the psychological therapy service, to provide treatment for patients living in North Wales, who are suffering from cancer and she also managed the service until her retirement.The service was well regarded and Jilly was justifiably proud that she could contribute towards better outcomes for people who were suffering from, and being treated for cancer. Jilly's family and friends intend to raise money for Anthony Nolan, because she was so grateful that her "lovely donor" as she liked to call her, had given her the chance to live. We want to ensure that Jilly is remembered and that others get the same chance that she had.
