Story
Jilly Wilcox-Jones a truly wonderful wife, mother and grandmother lost her courageous fight for life at the end of April 2016. She had been suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and had received a stem cell transplant, but sadly she died from post transplant complications. Jilly was so grateful that the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan had found her a donor who gave her the chance to live.
Jilly spent the last 15 years of her working life heading up psychological therapy services for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, and the greatest part of her role was to improve the health outcomes of patients suffering from cancer. It was a service held in extremely high regard and she was justifiably proud of her contribution.
We as a family will continue to celebrate Jilly's life and keep the memory of her alive. We also intend to raise as much money as possible for Anthony Nolan, and so far over £19,000 has been raised.
Jilly and I always enjoyed the racing when visiting Bangor on Dee.
