I cannot quite believe this will be the 3^rd successive year I have embarked on this ride in loving memory of Trish who sadly passed away on the 16^th December 2015. Where has the time gone!

The last 12 months have been particularly poignant. August would have seen a return to the Seychelles, where we got married, to celebrate our 25^th Wedding Anniversary. Matt was 21 in September and Trish would herself have been 50 in October.

Listening to others peoples stories reaffirmed what I have previous said. The care and attention Trish received at the hands of Professor Dennison and his team was magnificent.

I felt only contentment at her passing. This I now realise is probably a result of the fabulous care she received, the peacefulness in the way she slipped away, our wonderful marriage and fabulous kids, Steph & Matt.

So I ride again thanking you all for digging deep into your pockets to support me and the HPB team once again.

It is too late for Trish but not for others which is why the money that funds the research is necessary.

This is my opportunity to give something back but really it is your donations that make it worthwhile.

Both Matt & Steph will be proving logistical support on the day. Making sure I arrive at the starting point in plenty of time and getting home safely, after a few beers and a dip in the sea!!
