40th London Marathon - Virtual · 4 October 2020

LOROS Hospice is a local charity delivering free care and support to over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland each year. Our free high-quality, compassionate services are tailored to be special and unique to each terminally ill patient, their family and carers.

Story

The idea of running a marathon before turning 40 was always there but Covid was a good excuse to forget this. After a meal with Lorna on August 29th, I signed up for the 40th London Marathon - a virtual marathon as everyone getting together in London can’t happen.  Why? Well, we didn’t know this was a thing until then and then the romance of taking part in the 40th London Marathon in my 40th year took hold!

Signing up so late has meant I’ll have had 4 weeks of “training” beforehand - not ideal but I am a little stupid 😂 It would be great to raise some money whilst trying to complete this.

LOROS is the charity we would like to raise some money for. It would mean a lot to our family, thank you for taking time to have a look at this page 😍
