I am attempting a 78 mile walk over 3 days on 28/29/30 March in aid of the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, a registered charity

Throughout its 200 year history this Theatre has always relied on public goodwill and support.  Each year the Theatre has to raise at least £190,000 to help ensure the doors are open to welcome, entertain and engage some 90,000 visitors as well as maintain its crucial outreach work in youth education and community activity.

78 miles in 3 days from The Globe Theatre on London's South Bank to the Theatre Royal inBury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The equivalent of 3 marathons in 3 days. My form guide:

-       miles walked in serious walking in 2013 = 0 (a sabbatical?)

-       maximum miles ever walked in 1 day = 25

-       maximum miles ever walked in 3 days = 45

This is a serious personal challenge, not like eating 10 pickled eggs in an hour
