Story
It is nearly 3yrs since I received the gift of a new heart at Papworth hospital, after nearly 3months on Life support (Bi Vads for the techies).
Royal Papworth have doubled the number of heart transplants completed by using DCD (Non Beating Heart) transplant process. Developed and funded by this charity.
This is just one example (although a major one) of what this charity funds.
On March 23rd, my donors heart and I will be doing a 10,000ft tandem jump, apparently falling at up to 120mph, in order to raise money for this amazing place.
I have paid the minimum donation myself, so any money you donate, is going to the charity and not funding my jump.
I have never done anything like this before, I am a little bit terrified of bottling when it comes to jumping, but it is a great cause.
Please give if you can and please share so that we can raise as much as possible.
If we raise the target £1500, I will pay the extra for a camera man to jump with me and post the video so you can all laugh at me.
Thanks
Jim
