The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

I understand that many people are suffering right now, and the non-profit sector is no different. Many charities are struggling to deliver their vital services and are experiencing a loss of income. Globalteer and the vulnerable communities and vital projects they support are no exception.

To help raise vital funding for Globalteer, we will carry out a dance challenge. The kids will choreograph one of the Tik Tok dances and we will perform the dance as a family!

Many charities like Globalteer will not receive government support at this time. Neither will those that depend upon them. There is no safety net for people in the countries where they work. If those they support lose their income at this time, then it becomes very difficult to buy food and pay the bills with no chance of finding another job during quarantine. At the animal shelters and sanctuaries they support, without their normal influx of volunteers, they are finding it difficult to keep up with costs, and most importantly, keep their rescued animals fed and healthy.

The support of Globalteer has never been more important for those that depend upon them. I am humbly asking you for your support today. We know times are worrying and unsettling for you, but if you’re able to, please set up your own fundraiser or donate what you can. The price of your morning coffee, commute to work or Friday night takeaway, no matter how much you’re able to spare we will be immensely grateful. Every little bit helps! If you’re unable to donate today, you can still show your support by sharing with your friends and family.
