London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £8million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I lost my amazing Mum and Dad to different cancers in 2019 and 2021. As you can imagine the last few years have been a rollercoaster that I have wanted to get off of. But throughout, St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester have been my absolute rock. They supported our family through both parents' terminal cancer diagnosis and gave the most amazing end of life care both at home (for Mum) and at the hospice (for Dad). They continue to support and be there for us all, even after the passing of Mum and Dad, and I will be eternally grateful for everything they have done for me. And to show my appreciation, I am running the London Marathon in October this year (!!!!!). I started my running journey back in 2019 upon Mum's diagnosis and met a truly amazing lady call Karen who has seen (or ran) me through my darkest days. She has (crazily) agreed to run the London Marathon with me and to help raise funds for St Wilfrids Hospice too! Thank you for donating, however big or small, it all makes a difference x
