Virtual London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
I am running (probably walking quite a bit also) the Virtual London Marathon with my cousin Nichola in memory of my little brother Shane.
As many of you know we lost Shane a few months ago and I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. Your donation will help support families going through a similar thing and hopefully one day find a cure.
For those that know me, I am not built to run a marathon which makes this challenge all the more difficult. Hopefully you will bear that in mind when it comes to choosing how much to donate.
If at any point I am struggling round the 26.2 miles I'll have to think of what Shane would be saying, MAN UP.
Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 70,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
