The Ipswich charity Jimas recently bought the derelict Grade II  

Listed St Michaels Church to restore and turn into a fully inclusive community centre. After 25 years of hard saving and sacrifice with no bank facilities, council grants or loans whatsoever, the Church suffered a devastating arson attack, gutting the building and making more unreachable the goal of Jimas, to create ONE community centre FOR ALL that will help flourish our sense of  neighbourliness, charity and culture. But! I am walking 12 miles on the Rotary Club Orwell Walk 2011 to raise money for Jimas and the Community Centre Project.
