Story

Some challenges are not if, they are when...

I've been leading up to this ride for some years.. by doing solo bike expeditions to -

  • Brighton Mitre, n+1 and Novelo club rides
  • Prudential Ride London 2019
  • Tour of Wessex - solo - camping (2019)
  • Chase the Sun - solo / unsupported (330km in a day) (2019)
  • Ireland coast to coast - solo / unsupported (2018)
  • Outer Hebrides - solo / unsupported / bikepacking - end to end  (2017)
  • Spain to Brighton - solo / unsupported / bikepacking  (2016)
  • Newcastle to Edinburgh  (2014)
  • Brighton to Paris - solo / unsupported / bikepacking (2011)
  • West Country Way - solo / unsupported / bikepacking (2007)

Cycling from the rugged coastline of Cornwall to the rolling hills and valleys of the North of England right up the barren majesty of the Scottish highlands.

Cycling through 27 counties across England, Wales and Scotland in an unforgettable bucket list challenge.

I'll be raising much needed funds for both great causes - Elm Grove PTA (where my sons go to school) https://www.elmgrove.brighton-hove.sch.uk/pta and Chestnut Tree House in Sussex - https://www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions. They need £4 Million in funds every year. I hope to make some contribution towards this as part of my little bike ride.
