Barcelona Marathon 2012 · 25 March 2012 ·

Offering lifelong support to the Royal Marines Family.

Story

On 25th March I'll be running in my first Marathon for 20 years, to raise funds for Help Our Wounded, which raises funds to directly assist wounded Royal Marines and their families.  As a former Marine Commando myself this is a cause close to my heart.

I also wanted to run the race in memory of Cpl Steve "Whiskey" Walker, a friend and brother-in-arms who was killed in Afghanistan almost 2 years ago now. Gone but never forgotten.

It's vital that we help those injured and remember those who have given their lives in the service of their country. So please dig deep and donate now.
