Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the London Marathon again, but this time it's special. I'm raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my lovely daughter Vicky who sadly died of cancer last year.

It was Vicky who got me started running. We ran many races together, including the London Marathon. She was an inspiration and I know she'll be running every step of this year's race with me.

Sadly Vicky did not have time to benefit a great deal from the care that Macmillan provide, but I know other people have and do. Macmillan do a fantastic job in caring for and supporting people with cancer and their families. They receive no state funding and are almost entirely dependent on voluntary donations and fundraising to be able to continue the vital work they do.

Please give generously to support me, Vicky and the Macmillan team.

Thank you.

Jim
