DAS Crosses Britain Virtually · 7 September 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for visiting our page. This September a team from DAS UK and the Insurance Industry will be taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain cycling challenge to raise money for Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD). In support of this ride, DAS & others are also virtually crossing Britain by collectively logging our mileage from all activities from 4th - 12th September. We have walkers, cyclist, runners, rowers and golfers! IUAD is an Alzheimer’s Society campaign that is uniting the industry, raising significant funds to transform dementia treatment and care. Never before has the specialist support Alzheimer’s Society provides been more crucial. The 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK are some of the most vulnerable members of society, and COVID has had a devastating impact on them. Alzheimer's Society are continuing to face dementia head on. Thank you for taking the time to read our page. Please donate to this fantastic cause, we really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
