Each year one in four of us in the UK is affected by a mental health problem. A diagnosis can bring so many questions – not only about potential treatment or therapy, but about the wider impact that poor mental health can have on areas such as work, physical health, and finances. Mental Health UK brings together over 40 years of expertise from four national mental health charities to provide advice, information and support when someone really needs it.
Johnson & Johnson (X-(Sectorname)) colleagues are helping Mental health UK increase their reach in communities around the UK, by helping them support more people who are directly affected by poor mental health, and helping more carers for people who are living with a mental health problem to access the support they need too. Mental Health UK’s
advice, information, and support is needed now more than ever to help prevent a mental health crisis across the UK.
£10 — could help pay for a call to a Mental Health UK
advice and information line, supporting someone living with mental illness who
may be feeling in distress
£20 — could enable someone to attend a virtual chat
session at one of their community support services, providing a continued
connection to their community.
£30 — could allow Mental Health UK to promote an
online support group on social media, connecting people who are feeling
isolated and may be experiencing mental health problems for the first time.
