Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885.

Many years ago, my father served in the army. After serving many years, he decided to leave the army in order to start a family.

Due to the passing of both parents, in order for him and my mother to start a family, SSAFA helped set them up with a home, along with providing them financial aid to enable them to start a life together outside the forces. 

Giving them a stable roof over their head, meant they were able to start a family. First having my older sister and then, of course, me!

My father went on to have an incredibly successful career working for the Met Police until retiring a few years ago.

Without SSAFA's help, I have no idea where my family would be and am forever grateful for what they do and the lives they change. Not just for my family but for other Armed Forces families too.

So...now it my time to give back to them, with your help of course...!!!
