A team of 8 from John Lewis Cambridge and Scudamores, in conjunction with The Fen Paddle Company, are undertaking a unique challenge of canoeing from Cambridge to Coast (Kings Lynn) and back, to raise a target figure of £5,000 for the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre.

Branch Maintenance Manager, Gerald Brackley says "John Lewis Cambridge has a long association with the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre both in supporting fund raising activities and from the donation of time by working Partners.  Many families in our business have received excellent support from the Centre".

This remarkable journey will represent two back to back kayak marathons and will take place over 3 days from Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 May, 2010.

The team has undertaken a variety of training in order to prepare since January.
