On 14 November, I am taking on the #NailingDiabetes challenge to help Diabetes UK nail a cure. I am painting my nails blue to help raise awareness of diabetes - and make more research breakthroughs possible. I'm doing it for everyone living with diabetes. And for me. I'm doing it for the days we feel like we're nailing diabetes, and the days we don't. Diabetes is relentless, but so are we. There are 4.8 million people living with diabetes in the UK, the complications of which lead to over 500 premature deaths every week.
