So in 2021 I take on my first Marathon in Manchester. Its going to be tough, with plenty of training required but mentally I'm ready for the challenge...let the games begin! 

I will be running on behalf of Derian House, a charity who I believe do an amazing job supporting families and young people who have life shortening conditions which prevent them from living as long as the rest of us.

I am not running for a loved one that I have lost, but firmly believe the work carried out and the environment which has been established at the hospice creates such a wonderful place for young people and their families to share together at a time which cant be easy for any of them. 

Working with young people and their family the staff create a loving, warm environment where the children can enjoy themselves, share memories with friends and family and have plenty of laughs in the time they have. 

Any support would be appreciated by both me and the hospice, and wish me luck in my efforts as I work towards October 2021!
