It’s 9 weeks to go until we run the Leeds Marathon aka the first ever Rob Burrows Marathon for Motor Neurone Disease 

Ross has never run a marathon before and suffers from Achilles tendinitis and I have had two major surgeries since my last marathon in 2010 when I was a 20 something not a 40 something but we are both determined to get round the course and hopefully finish in one piece! 

We’ll be honest our 16 week training plan so far hasn’t gone to plan (at all) with illness and pre existing conditions coming back *BUT* we know we will both spur each other on to make sure all 26.2 miles are tackled to help raise both awareness and funds for MND.   Inspired by 40 year old Rob’s desire to not give in to a condition that has altered his life tremendously we will both dig deep and ensure we cross that finish line on May 14th
