Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My family and I lost Debbie earlier this year, she had lung cancer and she lost her battle in May,
My Auntie was one of the most warmest and infectious people I have ever met, natrually beautiful and sophisicated, she was funny with a smile that would make you subconsciously smile right back at her, and a wink I will never forget!
In twenty nine years of knowing her I never once saw her cross or grumpy or sad and not even on the day before she died.. I still got that smile and that wink!!
Debbie every year ran the Race For Life and at the time of the race earlier this year she was obviously to sick to take part so the women in my family thought we would go and run it for her, we where Debs Dashers and wanted to raise money for a charity that is more than a worthy course,
Debbie didnt make it to the race and so we ran in memory of her, and we will continue to do so every year.
I have never been a runner myself infact cross country at school was my worst nightmare, coming second to last every year. I was red faced, overweight, triping up, sweating it out and could bearly breath, with my P.E teacher shouting in my ear that she will get me to the end!! and we hadnt even left the school premises yet!! ( not one of my most fondest memories!!)
But for debbie and for cancer research and for everyone who has lost or suffered with cancer I am running the Reading Half Marathon along with my Brother and sister too!
A few weeks ago I had a scare with cancer myself, and if it wasnt for cancer research and what they know I could of been a victim of cervical cancer!
please please dig deep and support myself and this wonderful charity.
Many Thanks for reading my story!
