We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Hello,

I hope you are all well.
I am doing a raft race down the river Leam with my workmates. I work for an engineering company and being me I have put my name down for the design, build and raft team. So far I have been no help what so ever in making suggestions for the design of the raft which we are making out of recycled plastic bottles and hopefully two windsurf boards (Dad can you confirm this?). I feel my role will come in when it comes to building up the fitness of our rowers on the raft, of which there are 6! Varying in ages from 22 (me!) - 60.  The event isn't until June but we have been having design meetings since January (We intend to win this race). The race is three miles down the river and includes getting down a weir.
I would appreciate it if you could donate to my chosen charity, Myton Hospice, which is the hospice that cared for Grandad Roy.
