We are 'Channeling the madness', a group of ladies from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire who love to swim and are self funding a channel swim in June 2022.  Because we have had a number of people ask if we are doing this for charity we decided to set up a just giving page so that you are able to donate and give us an extra incentive. We have all decided on supporting a local mind group, as the money will go directly to the charity in our region.

The last few years have been difficult for so many people and we all have our own stories around how swimming has really helped our mental health, through a common sense of purpose, community and bonding.

We also have our own personal whys, whether it’s the loss of a special friend or knowing people who have lost someone to suicide. We also all know people who have struggled with mental health and the importance of charities such as mind to support people is vital. https://www.norfolkandwaveneymind.org.uk
