Hello supporters, and welcome to our Just Giving Page! In 2019 JD&Co are excited and humbled to be focusing our fundraising efforts on the wonderful and worthy cause that is Thames Hospice, to support their ambition to build a purpose-built hospice that will serve the ever growing needs of the community, now and into the future.

Due to the size of their current facilities, Thames Hospice are struggling to keep up with the increasing number of people who need their care and services. As well as seeing more patients, they are also dealing with more complex and challenging medical conditions and their much-loved existing building isn’t designed to accommodate twenty-first-century care.

Put simply, the care they provide is outstanding – but the building is holding them back. The great news is that plans have been approved and building has commenced on an incredible new facility due to open in 2020, spanning 8 acres of land next to Bray Lake in Maidenhead, which will be able to support all those who need them.

The new hospice build is entirely funded by local individuals, trusts, companies and community groups, so JD&Co are doing our bit to raise all we can and pledge those funds towards the new build. With your support, Thames Hospice will be able to fulfil their dream of serving the community for the future.

So, here is what we are doing to raise funds…….

'Raise your game to raise the roof' – During the whole month of September, we plan to walk/run the total distance of 667 miles as a team starting on 1st September (Lands End to John o' Groats). From walking meetings to personal fitness goals, we will all be stepping up our game to reach our goal of 667 miles. We will be updating our team distance totals below to show you how we are going against our 667 mile target!

After completing the various events below we have raised £1174 on our Just Giving page which is 26% of our target. Please help us raise our overall target of £4500, any donation big or small is much appreciated!
