Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am taking part in this fundraiser in memory of Margaret MacCormack, who spent her last days in this hospice.

Margaret was a very special lady who sewed many seeds of love in to the lives of numerous people, including me!

When her health deteriorated to the point of requiring a morphine pump to manage her pain, the Garden House Hospice provided a peaceful, serene space where she was made comfortable and exceptionally well cared for.

Such provision makes a monumental difference not only to the one dying but also to all those who love them and walk with them through their last days.

The calming atmosphere, thoughtful set up and kindly staff make this a very special resource for our community hence I am raising funds towards its ongoing work.

If you struggle with on line payments (as I do!), please contact me direct at jo.loach@gmail.com to arrange an alternative method of contribution.

If you don't have the funds to contribute, please pray for me as I prepare for this event and for the hospice that they would continue to receive the necessary funds to continue this so important work.

Thank you.
