Tiree Ultramarathon · 4 September 2022

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Tiree Ultra has been replaced by a 35 miles run in the local area. Please see below a description of what was previously being undertaken.

For those of you unaware I was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in May of 2021, aged 60. The Alzheimers society have been a fantastic source of resource for us in this challenging times and I am keen to help raise some money for them to help continue doing the fanatic work that they do.

I am undertaking a 35 mile ultamarathon on the island of Tiree, the most westerly island of the Scottish Inner Hebrides, on the 4th of September 2022. I would be incredibly grateful for any donations towards this highly worthy cause.

Thank you in advance.

Jo
