anks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you know, I am no stranger to fundraising challenges, but this year is different, as my challenge is one that spans the whole summer, and it is to swim a minimum of 100Km in 100 days to raise much needed funds for a small charity called Kidasha. Every £2, £5, £20, and £50+ makes a massive difference on the ground in Nepal, and enables Kidasha to provide food and shelter to street children of Nepal, many of whom are exploited as labourers, as well as many of them being sexually exploited from very young ages.
Over the coming weeks and months I will be taking to the rivers and lakes in the South of England, come hail, rain or shine and will be swimming distances of £3km + each time, all accumulating towards my target of 100km by early September. I will give frequent updates (video and written) of how I’m progressing with my challenge, as well as giving some insights on what your donations to Kidasha can achieve on the ground in Nepal.
Please dig deep for this very worthy cause - every few pounds (and Euros) makes a massive difference to extremely impoverished children, families and sexually exploited girls and women. Here's what your donations can help to deliver on the ground in Nepal:
· £2 provides a meal for five street children
· £10 a month enables a street child to go to school
· £25 provides two weeks of food and safe shelter for street child
. £35 provides counselling and support to get a child back to their
· £100 pays for a month of counselling, healthcare, education and
all the basic necessities in a safe home for a young girl who has
been sexually abused
· £500 Annual rent for a drop-in centre for working children
