In February 2017, Joan was diagnosed with breast cancer. The next year became difficult as she underwent surgery and received both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. 

Joan is now clear of this dreadful disease! 

As a family, we could not have got through the past year without the truly amazing team at The Pink Rose Suite at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital and the Macmillan nurses. 

To say a huge heartfelt thank you, Joan and her granddaughter Ellie Riggall will be doing a skydive on Sunday 19th August to raise funds for these two amazing causes. 

Just two days after her jump, Joan will be celebrating her 73rd birthday!!
