Although The Pro Bono Project is my client, over the years, I have seen first hand the difference they make in peoples' lives and so am passionate about finding ways to support them. The Ripple Effect campaign shows how when a volunteer lawyer resolves a civil legal problem for someone so many others are affected in small and large ways. The Pro Bono Project connects private bar attorneys, who provide their services pro bono, with families, children, seniors, and others who have a civil legal problem and cannot afford the services of a lawyer. By opening the door to access justice for clients through volunteer lawyers, they positively impact their clients’ lives and the lives of everyone they come into contact with - from other family members to employers and the community in which they live. They serve a six-parish area that surrounds New Orleans.
