"Team Dee Dee" have taken on the challenge of cycling from London to Edinburgh in memory of my mother in law, Helen Metcalfe. Helen died in early December 2013 from Cancer. It was her wish to spend her last days at home and be around her family, rather than in a strange hospital. Herriott Hospice Homecare is a local charity who helped us carry out that wish by providing loving help and care to her in her last few weeks of life. They not only supported her but gave help and support to us all in those dark days. 

Herriot Hospice is a local charity that works in hand with Local Authorities in order to provide this home hospice care to terminally ill patients, allowing them the comfort of their own home. So as family and friends we wanted to give back to them in order that they could help other families in need just like we were.
