Hi Everyone

 

Two years ago I finished the Moon Walk and said ‘never again!’ and now I’ve changed my mind – a woman’s prerogative!  I am walking with Leanne, a friend from work who has had this 26.2 midnight walk on her ‘tick off list’ for a while – crazy!  One of the main reasons for deciding to walk again is to mark the positivity, courage and bravery of two of my closest friends who have recently gone through some really tough treatment, I admire you both so much and am so very, very proud of you! 

 

As always I walk in memory of my brother Steve – my ‘Guardian Angel’ as I think of him; in memory of my friends who sadly lost their fight against cancer, and in celebration of the lives of those who have come out the other side of this dreadful disease.  Now all I have to do is keep practising (yes, I am that mad woman with the pink cap striding round and round and round the Downs!) and raise as much money as I can to help the fight against cancer. Thank you all in advance for your generosity, you always come up trumps and I really am so very grateful.  Love Jo xxx
