With fundraising events cancelled and no clear indication of when we can open our shops or how long it will take them to return to normal trading, Thorpe Hall Hospice anticipate a funding gap of £1.6m for this financial year.

Story

In April, Louise Coles a dear friend from school days was just starting her fight against cancer with radiotherapy treatment. Sadly she died after catching coronavirus most likely in hospital.

Louise spent considerable time supporting people in need by fundraising. Before her death she raised awareness of the difficulties her local hospice, Thorpe Hall was having as a result of the Covid-19. Hospice care is so important in the  providing of emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are in unimaginably difficult circumstances. Louise’s death,  just  like many others, has devastated her family and friends. It would be wonderful and deeply appreciated  if you could help.  Every penny counts and makes the difference as to whether the hospice  can continue its wonderful support. Louise would be delighted.
