The Capital Appeal aims to raise £7.5 million to completely renovate Rowans Hospice. The project has been split into three phases and embraces every aspect of our services, to ensure we can care for people today, tomorrow and in the future.

Story

So many of our lives have been touched by the remarkable Hospice movement.  My local hospice, The Rowans near Portsmouth supported my close friend and her family and my Dad was cared for by Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington.

The Rowans is celebrating its 25th Anniversary  this year.  I am walking 100km to Sanitago de Compostela in northern Spain in October to contribute to their Silver Jubilee fund-raising.

It's a walk I'd love to do so wouldn't dream of asking for sponsorship.  It's no hardship.

But I would love it if you could make a donation in Alison and Dad's memories and to sustain The Rowans in their important work.

Thank you, Joanna xxx
